Child Poverty Network

In recognition of the wide range of stakeholders with an interest in child poverty a new network has been established.

An electronic network has also been established which will enable practitioners:

• to keep up to date with developments related to child poverty
• ask questions about child poverty
• make comments about child poverty

Child Poverty Needs Assessment

The child poverty needs assessment is a detailed assessment of the scale and nature of child poverty in Newcastle. Carrying out a needs assessment is a requirement of the Child Poverty Act 2010.  The needs assessment provides the evidence base for Newcastle's Child Poverty Strategy and is a resource for partners across the city to use.
