The Newcastle Children's Services website has been developed for all practitioners working with children and young people and promotes integrated working between partner agencies in Newcastle.

Children's Services and partners were judged to be good with good capacity to improve in both safeguarding and in LAC services. We were delighted with this result which recognises the good quality services we provide in Newcastle and the significant progress made in improving outcomes for children and young people in the city.

Newcastle Children's Services is officially among the best in the country after being rated 'excellent' by Ofsted in the annual Children’s Services Assessment (CSA). Although it is called a Children’s Services Assessment it is clearly a result of the work of all partners.
