Stay Safe

Staying safe means that children and young people are protected from harm, neglect, maltreatment, violence, sexual exploitation, accidental injury and death. They are protected from bullying and discrimination, crime and anti-social behaviour in and out of school, having security and stability and are cared for.

Priorities for stay safe:

• safely reduce looked after children and child protection plans
• reduce bullying and discrimination
• further develop early intervention and prevention
