Newcastle City Council, in collaboration with IDeA, is hosting a regional event for sharing innovative practice relating to safeguarding children and young people.  The day will be split into four sessions with three workshops per session, which will allow participants to hear up to twelve examples of successful safeguarding practice.  Participants will be able to sign up for as few or as many sessions as they wish and to attend the sessions that interest them. 

The event is free of charge to any colleagues within the region that woule like to attend (a £50 cancellation charge will be made if participants do not attend or cancel less than 48 hours prior to the event.)
