Funded through Newcastle Primary Care Trust this half day workshop is aimed at those professionals who are likely to come into contact with suicidal individuals and aims to consolidate and enhance those key skills in risk assessment and the recognition, assessment and management of suicidal behaviours.

The current workshop content also forms part of the:

• Mandatory risk assessment training utilised within NTW for its entire clinical staff.
• The Northern Deanery post-graduate MrcPsych training.
• UNN’s NVTS training for GP Trainees.
